Answer: The registration of telephone solicitation businesses (legal names and DBA) is legally required in Arizona for a multitude of categories. Business names, also known as DBAs, can be filed with the Office of the Secretary of State or at the county level.

 Full Telephone Solicitors may fill out a Telephone Solicitation Registration Form. Mail the completed form with the appropriate fees to:

Q: What is a "Service of Process Agent"?

Answer: A Service of Process Agent is authorized by a business to receive legal documents on behalf of the business in Arizona. Do not submit a P.O. Box Address.

Q: Statutory authority?

Statutory authority for the registration of telephone solicitation businesses and limited telephone solicitation business can be found in Arizona Revised Statutes § 44-1273 through § 44-1278. These statutes has been recently amended and the current version is Senate Bill 1326, Forty-Fourth legislature, First Regular Session. This bill covers Arizona Revised Statutes § 44-1271 through § 44-1278.
