The Honorable Ken Bennett participated in the annual Pearl Harbor Rememberance Ceremony in Wesley Bolin Plaza across from the Capitol in Phoenix, Arizona. Secretary Bennett paid tribute to those who served by signing a song called "Arlington."

After the ceremony dignataries and Pearl Harbor survivors were invited to the groundbreaking of the WWII memorial on the plaza.
