The Arizona Secretary of State, Business Services Division (SOSAZ) maintains the database of over two hundred thousand liens for the state of Arizona. These liens are continuously updated through the process of filing Uniform Commercial Code documents (UCC) at the SOSAZ, where they are imaged and keyed into the UCC system. The UCC filings and most images of the filings are accessible, and completely searchable, to the public via the Internet at http://www.azsos.gov. The UCC Filing Index (UCCFI) from the SOSAZ contains a complete index of all UCC documents on file at SOSAZ. The information is the same information presented in the UCC Monthly Filing Index UCCMI. The UCC Monthly Filing Index (UCCMI) from the SOSAZ typically contains over five thousand records of UCC documents filed and keyed at the SOS in a given month. The index is published on 2nd of each month, 12 times a year. The UCCMI contains the images of the filings along with data files. The data contained in the UCCMI is:
Note: Collateral is NOT entered into the UCC system and therefor is NOT available. Since UCC documents are continuously filed, SOS can only guarantee the veracity of the file on its issuance date. Requests for the data must be done in writing and must be accompanied by a check or money order.
