Schedule a Candidate Filing Appointment
Candidates who need to submit paper nomination petitions or Clean Elections qualifying contributions can schedule a filing appointment with our office by following the links to our appointment scheduling app below. Scheduling an appointment takes the guesswork out of the candidate filing period and ensures that our helpful staff can process your filing at a time most convenient to you.
Since some offices require a larger volume of documents to be filed than others, anticipated appointment durations are based on the office you are seeking and whether you are publicly or privately funded. If you don't see a time that works for you, please contact our Election Services staff by phone at (602) 542-8683, or by email: [email protected].
Publicly Funded Candidates
The Citizens Clean Elections Commission provides an optional public funding program to qualified statewide and legislative candidates. They must meet certain requirements, among them collecting a certain number of $5 qualifying contributions and agreeing not to accept contributions from PACs and corporations. For more information, please visit the Citizens Clean Elections Commission website at: http://www.azcleanelections.gov/en/candidates/running-for-office.
Privately Funded Candidates
Candidates who choose to raise private campaign funds, subject to limits, are known as non-participating or traditional candidates. Such candidates do not participate in the optional funding program provided by the Citizens Clean Elections Commission. Privately funded candidates may accept contributions from PACs or corporations, and are not subject to CCEC expenditure limits.
