Election Officer Certification and Training classes are conducted every two years by the Election Services Division staff of the Secretary of State's Office. About 80 county and city election staff attended the week-long class June 22-26, 2009, to become certified in election law and ethics. Among those in attendance are (pictured, front) Michelle D'Andrea, from Coconino County, Secretary of State Ken Bennett, Assistant Secretary of State Jim Drake and Election Services Intern Eric Schick who like others in the class, had to take a test to earn their certificate.
