Who is Secretary of State?

Ken Bennett is the Secretary of State. He started his job in January of 2009!

He visits schools and neighborhoods to talk to you and your parents about his job.

He's really friendly so if you see him, make sure to say hello.

The Secretary of State is elected, that is, people in the state vote for the person they think is best for the job.

Other states have their own Secretary of State and the United States of America has one too!
