Secretary Reagan applauds Senator Hobbs appointment of Amy Chan to Citizens Clean Elections Commission
Deputy Secretary and State Election Director agree

“I was delighted to hear Senator Hobbs named former state Election Director Amy Chan to the CCEC,” said Secretary Reagan.  “So many people hold Amy in high regard and I know she’ll do a great job as the newest member of the Clean Elections Commission.  I’m sure that in short order her expertise and leadership will be evident to all.”

Deputy Secretary of State Lee Miller said, “During her tenure at the Secretary of State’s office under Secretary Bennett, Amy was known for her unbiased and fair approach when dealing with election issues.  We look forward to building on the great relationship we have with Commissioner Chan.”

“As a former State Election Director, Ms. Chan will understand the state’s election laws better than most,” said State Election Director Eric Spencer.  “Her experience at the Secretary of State’s office will undoubtedly be a great benefit to the other commissioners.  She’ll be an excellent addition to the commission as they deliberate the roles and responsibilities of CCEC.”
