PHOENIX – Secretary of State Michele Reagan is the newest member of Childhelp’s Advisory Board. Secretary Reagan will play an integral role in protecting the children of Arizona’s communities.

“I’m incredibly honored to have been selected to be on Childhelp’s Advisory Board,” said Secretary Reagan. “I look forward to working with former colleagues and fellow board members to raise awareness and prevention in regards to child abuse. Arizona’s children are the future and we must do everything possible to ensure that they will be safe and successful.”

“We are honored and privileged to extend Secretary Reagan an invitation to become a member of Childhelp’s Arizona Advisory Board, Betsy Bayless has served on our Board since she held the position of Secretary of State, and former Governor Jan Brewer will return to an active role on our Board where she has also served since holding office as Secretary of State. We know Secretary Reagan will continue the legacy of these two magnificent women who have served on our Board while serving the people of Arizona as Secretary of State,” said Sara O’Meara, Chairman & CEO of Childhelp.

Childhelp was founded in 1959 by Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson. Since then they have become one of the largest child abuse and prevention organizations in the country. Childhelp’s mission is to meet the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children.
