Secretary of State Michele Reagan is pleased to announce she has obtained two new and simple domain names to make it easier for people to locate information related to voter registration and election information — www.arizona.vote and www.arizona.voto. The new web addresses direct web traffic to the election information page of the official website of the office, www.azsos.gov.
The new .vote and .voto domains were designed by Monolith Registry to help elected officials, governments, candidates and organizations make it easier to access legitimate election information on the internet.
“With the recent expansion of internet domain names, obtaining arizona.vote and arizona.voto was a simple way to make it easier for people to find out information related to voting and elections in Arizona,” said Secretary Reagan. “Our site provides comprehensive details on things such as voter registration, polling places, election dates, and what to bring with you to the polls. With these two memorable domains, we hope when people think about voting, they think arizona.vote.”
Monolith Registry is a venture backed by Afilias, the world’s second largest domain registry. Monolith Registry is dedicated to providing a space on the Internet where voters can find useful information from candidates and other bona fide political participants who agree to abide by the .vote/.voto registration policies.
