May 17th Polling Location Information

April 11, 2016, Phoenix - Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell has released a list of 116 polling places for the May 17th Special Election on the Maricopa County Recorder’s & Election’s website. This list has not yet been approved by the Board of Supervisors. It is on the agenda for approval on Wednesday, April 20th

We are aware the Publicity Pamphlet the Secretary of State’s Office mailed out only lists the 62 polling places that were originally intended for the May 17th Election. Ms. Purcell has since added an extra 54 polling places to prevent long wait times for the voter.

Like the Presidential Preference Election, voters can go anywhere and vote in the May 17th Special Election. The Recorder’s Office will be mailing out a “Polling Location Information” mailer to every household that is not on our Permanent Early Voting List that will list all 116 polling locations by city.
