Secretary Reagan and reps from the Phoenix Mercury & Suns will announce their “Get in the Game” initiative

At a special announcement at Hamilton High School with more than 150 students in attendance, Secretary Reagan and representatives from the Phoenix Mercury/Suns will announce their joint initiative to encourage voter registration and participation among the next generation of voters.
The educational effort seeks to improve registration and participation rates of 18-24 year olds with interactive programs that educate school age children on the electoral process and inspire a sense of civic duty.
Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell, also partnering in the effort, will join the Secretary, Representative Jeff Weninger, Suns/Mercury officials Jason Rowley and basketball hall of famer Ann Myers Drysdale. The Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad, along with mascots Scorch and the Gorilla will also be in attendance.
